The VLITEX E-Bike battery bag is designed to slow down and limit the spread of a Li-ion battery fire. It does not serve to completely suffocate such a fire.

• Five special layers
• Additionally secured with give quick-release fasteners
• Carrying handles for convenient transportation
• Three openings in the lid as an outlet for flue gases to prevent overpressure (Caution: flue gases are toxic!)
• Glass fibre fabric heat-resistant short-term up to 1.000 °C
• Protective effect proven in fire brigade tests (tested with Li-ion batteries up to 400 Wh)
• Large enough for most scooter and bike batteries. 
• Temperature resistance: 650°C/1.000°C
