Defra Disinfectant BioP MSDS

 

DEFRA Approved Liquid Disinfectant is effective against bacteria, fungi, yeasts and all known classes of virus. BioShield P has shown superior efficacy compared to similar products in both lab and farm trials. By law you must use a Department for Environment Food & Rural Affairs (Defra) approved disinfectant when there is an outbreak of a notifiable disease.

Notifiable diseases can be:
Endemic already present in the UK, such as bovine TB
Exotic not normally present in the UK, such as Foot & Mouth, Swine Vesicular Disease and Avian Influenza

  • Formaldehyde free
  • High foaming properties • Potent prolonged effect
  • Effective in the presence of organic matter
  • Effective against bacteria, fungi, yeasts and all known classes of virus
  • Effective disinfection of all classes of livestock housing
  • A straw coloured liquid blend of glutaraldehyde and quaternary ammonium compound

  • Foot and mouth disease 1:60
